Summary

Hello! I’m a UX designer with a strong background in both art and game design. My journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Animation, where I honed my skills in pre-production and storytelling. During this time I approached games for the first time, encouraged by my teachers to join game jams and later starting an internship in mexican game studio Ennui. In 2021, I expanded my knowledge at Vancouver Film School (VFS), where I studied Game Design with a focus on art and programming. This education solidified my passion for creating intuitive, engaging experiences for players, and to continuously seek to improve my skills with new tools and techniques. In 2023 I joined HyperBeard Games as a full-time UI/UX designer. Under the mentorship of a senior designer I've polished my skills and learnt to use my background as illustrator to my advantage when creating clean, functional and visually cohesive interfaces, focusing also on accessibility and following Material Design guidelines.
